A transaction is a record of a pass being used at one of your stores — a tap, a scan, sometimes with a payment and loyalty points attached. The Transaction Log is your company’s complete, newest-first record of all of them.
Finding a transaction
Open Transactions in the sidebar. Filter by Reference, Status, Type, Instrument (how the pass was captured — for example a card terminal, QR scan, or NFC tap), and a From/To date range, then click Apply.
Each row shows the date, status, type, the pass and cardholder, the store and terminal, the amount, and points earned or spent. Click a row to open the full detail.
Transaction statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|
| Approved | The transaction went through |
| Denied | The transaction was rejected — the detail page shows the reason |
| Failed | Something went wrong processing it — the detail page shows the reason |
| Pending | Still being processed |
The transaction detail
The detail page shows everything your company is involved in for one transaction:
- Capture details — the reference, type, instrument, and exactly when it was processed.
- Payment & rewards — the amount, payment and PSP references, and loyalty points earned or spent (shown when the transaction has a payment or points component — a plain tap may have neither).
- Line items — the purchased items with SKU, quantity, and amount, when your POS provides them.
- Related records — direct links to the pass, the store, and the terminal involved.
When a customer disputes a denied tap, start here: the status reason on the detail page usually explains it — for example a voided pass or an expired membership.
